The Producer’s Foundation Certificate is a four-part series of classes, each presenting a specific aspect, process, or skill involved in producing films. These courses are for anyone interested in the film producing process, whether you have any experience in producing or filmmaking.

Learn how to get your movie funded, made and seen.  Description  Why take the Film Producer’s Foundation Certificate?  Producers have control over almost every aspect of a film’s production. They initiate and drive the movie forward, bringing together a production team, including the director, cinematographer, production designer and major cast members. The producer’s primary responsibility is to guide a project from the conception to the screen. They lead the film from script to producing the film, into distribution, marketing and beyond. 

About the Producer’s Foundation Certificate This four-part evening classes answers specific questions in key areas of producing, and explores the opportunities producers have today to develop, finance, budget and market a film, as well as deal with legal. During each class you will learn skills essential to getting a movie made. To receive a certificate, attend all sessions. You can also purchase individual topic sessions. This Producer’s certificate course is taught by producer and Director TJ Collins along with invited film industry specialists.
